Tim Utton is a former Daily Mail Science reporter. As a journalist he covered stories on technology, health, medicine, genetics, the environment, space, archaeology, psychology and new developments in a wide variety of scientific fields. He is currently Deputy Director of Communications at the University of Nottingham. He was born in Berkshire in 1970 to an English father and German mother. He lives in Nottinghamshire with his wife and two children.
